While we love having your furry friends visit us, due to City of Cape Town regulations, dogs can no longer come inside our Wale Street and Kalk Bay cafes. 🥹

We hope you know that it's them not us 👀 and that we'll definitely miss seeing all those wagging tails around the cafes. 🤎

Four dinners. Over R50,000 raised. One more table to share this season. 🤎

Across four Good Table events, we’ve raised over R50,000 for Ladles Of Love South Africa, supporting the incredible work they do in communities across Cape Town.

Now, we’re getting ready for our final table of the season — a Heritage Day celebration centred around a proudly South African potjie. 🇿🇦

This Heritage Month, we are opening our doors to 64 Wale Street for an immersive evening led by Daiyaan Petersén

From the street to the courtyard, and the rooms within, discover the hidden history of the building we now call home. We’re sharing stories of the slaves, lives and businesses that have shaped 64 Wale over the years.

Your ticket includes the walkthrough, bean-to-bar chocolate tasting, drink of your choice, cacao bean keepsake and mini history zine.

It starts long before the cacao beans even reaches our factory. We work with organic, single-origin cacao from Kokoa Kamili in Tanzania, and we believe that knowing where our cacao comes from is a crucial part of making good chocolate.

That person is Ziyanda, part of our Outbound team. She’s the one making sure your Honest Chocolate order can make its way from our factory to you. From checking stock and putting orders together, to packing and shipping them out, she helps keep the final step of the journey running smoothly.

This Women's Month, we're featuring the women whose hands, hearts and expertise shape Honest Chocolate every day. Throughout August, we'll be sharing their stories, celebrating not only what they do, but the care, craftsmanship and dedication they bring to our team.

First up is Felicity, our Sales Coordinator. From helping us find the right customers to building relationships with stockists and retailers, her role is all about creating connections between people and Honest Chocolate. 🤎

Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Good Table event, and to our incredible partners The Gin Bar, Marné Gelderbloem, Eagles' Nest W**es and Jason Bakery for helping bring it to life.

Together, we raised just over R9000 for Ladles Of Love South Africa, helping support their work feeding communities across Cape Town.
