The Parisian-inspired steakhouse come bar is situated conveniently in the midst of the urban sprawl, so you won’t need to go far to find a classy cocktail, craft beer or top local wine to help you ease into the weekend. Housed in national monument Heritage Square, HQ is effortlessly sophisticated; from the main restaurant with its red leather seating, mirrored walls, and balloon lampshades casting

a golden glow; to the moody bar and lounge area with contemporary furnishings and glamorous fittings. Shake off office fatigue by starting off with a steak dinner: HQ offers a single, straightforward menu: salad, sirloin and chips; a breath of fresh air in a dining world populated by overextended menus. Then swap the boardroom for the bar, and be rewarded with the sounds of only the best musicians; expect live instrumentation, swing and house music to keep you dancing all night.

To all our fabulous HQ customers over the past twelve and a half years. Thank you for your incredible support and patronage.

Sadly we have reached the end of the road at Heritage Square as the lease is not being renewed. 29 February 2020 was our last day of trade.

Needless to say we are particularly sad to see the dedicated HQ staff go and we will miss all of you too, in particular our regulars who in many cases have made HQ their weekly home. Countless particularly significant birthdays, graduations, celebrations and even weddings have taken place at HQ.

They say all things come to an end. Well, they have at HQ for now. To the extent HQ re-opens in a different venue( no plans at present), you will be the first to know.
