Sotano

Inspired by its seaside location, Sotano’s menu enjoys a distinctly Mediterranean influence.

Opened in 2011, Sotano has fast become popular with the summer sundowner set. Its light and breezy ocean-side atmosphere, Mediterranean styled menu plus clear view of the Mouille Point Lighthouse and Atlantic beyond, makes Sotano a venue that’s hard to beat. And like all things truly Capetonian, Sotano is part style icon, part chameleon as it shifts its mood to cater for each season and urban style.

While we’ve been busy preparing what’s next, we’ve been looking back at the people who made Sotano so special. This team has been at the heart of every warm welcome, every memorable meal, and every moment shared around our tables.

Thank you for your patience and for all the love you’ve shown us over the past few weeks. We promise the wait will be worth it.

Our Sotano Pop-Up is almost ready, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.
