After a hugely successful few days at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, we can safely say the adventurous start to the week navigating the storm in Cape Town was absolutely worth it.

The week was filled with great conversations, exciting new opportunities, and valuable time spent catching up with current clients and industry friends. It is always incredible to see the passion and collaboration across the travel industry, with so much to look forward to in the months ahead.

What a way to kick off Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026 😅

Day 1 started with a little more excitement than expected after Cape Town’s weather caused a few travel delays for part of the team, which naturally led to an afternoon of constant flight tracking and plenty of “any updates yet?” messages in the group chat.

By the time they finally made it through to Durban though, they seemed surprisingly relaxed… although a few well deserved airport beers may have helped 🍻

Now the full team is together, the coffee is flowing again, and we are ready for a fantastic few days of networking, reconnecting with familiar faces, and enjoying all the energy that makes such a memorable event every year.
