Businessman Bennison Osbourne had always dreamt of creating the perfect breakfast cereal and in 1928 he came up with an almost perfect recipe. His popular wholegrain wheat biscuit quickly found its way onto millions of breakfast tables. In 1932 Bennison and his partners arrived in the United Kingdom, brimming with ambition, and after a few tweaks to the original recipe, they created Weetabix. They

found a home for the factory in Burton Latimer where the heart of the Weetabix Company remains to this day. Weetabix is currently the U.K.’s number one selling, most trusted and most recommended breakfast cereal, as well as one of Britain’s most iconic brands. The mills at Burton Latimer export to more than 80 countries around the world. began making the very first Nutrific biscuits using identical product recipes at its production facilities in Cape Town to those used by the parent company in the U.K. A highly versatile breakfast option, Nutrific has become a firm favourite in many South African households. From giant bunnies and breakfast (served with speckled eggs, marshmallows and golden spoons) to an Easter Egg hunt and individual photos with the Easter Bunny, our boys and girls at Ulwazi had a real Easter treat.

The Nutrific team had even MORE fun seeing the joy on the little one’s faces and marvelling at their generosity in try to share their eggs with the bunnies!

We salute the teachers and staff at Ulwazi Educare who bring first class education, care and devotion to the children of the Delft community and hope you all had a very happy Easter!
