Prawns & shrimp show up all along Africa’s coastlines and even inland in rivers and lakes.

Different regions, different flavours, but the approach stays pretty similar. Fresh, quick cooking, and built around what’s on hand.

At GOLD, we keep that same thinking. You’ll find them served with our Zanzibar fish curry, a delicate, creamy and fragrant dish.

Throughout GOLD, many of the lighting fixtures are made from authentic African artefacts that have been carefully repurposed into part of the restaurant’s design.

Objects that were once used in everyday life across the continent now serve a new function, while still carrying the history and craftsmanship of where they come from.
