Hi Athol,
Just wanted to thank you for the most scrumptious lamb spit-braai on Sunday - your team did you proud - with all the comings & goings, my only regret was not being able to watch in more detail the cooking process - with your use of a gas fire in an enclosed ‘oven’ as the heat source, you are better able to control the heat & I would guess that you mix up a patented “Monty’s” herbed basting sauce - all delicious with some appreciated leftovers to savour😊😊.
