*Slamat for Labarang!*

Across Cape Town on Eid mornings we would hear the warm greeting of “Slamat for Labarang” and the sharing of barakatjies - small tokens of love and generosity that bring families and neighbours together.

These are the moments that remind us of the importance of cultural diversity and the spirit of tolerance that has always been a part of our city.

To everyone celebrating Eid today, may your day be filled with love, laughter, and many blessings.

Eid Mubarak!
