THIS IS WHY I KEEP SALMON IN THE FREEZER.

You know that 5pm fridge stare when you’ve got half an avo, some cucumber, a tub of something from yesterday and absolutely no idea what dinner is?

Add salmon and suddenly it looks like you planned it.

That’s really the whole idea behind Hooked on Salmon. Good Norwegian salmon sitting in your freezer for the nights when you haven’t shopped, the kids need feeding, friends stay for supper or you simply cannot face another trip to Woolies.

And unlike most fish, our salmon is very freezer friendly -properly frozen, it keeps beautifully for months

Not glamorous. Just extremely useful.

Cape Town deliveries every Thursday & Friday.

DINNER DOESN’T NEED A PLAN.

Some nights you just want something good without turning dinner into a whole production.

A salmon portion, hot pan, salt, pepper and lemon. Add a big crunchy salad with avocado and cucumber and dinner is done. Healthy, filling and genuinely easy.

This is exactly why we love having individual Norwegian salmon portions tucked away in the freezer. They’re there for the “what are we eating tonight?” nights, quick lunches, post-gym dinners or when you simply can’t be bothered to cook for an hour.

And the clever bit? Our salmon is freezer happy for up to 8 months, so there’s no rush to use it.

Stock the freezer. Make dinner easier.

WEEKEND AWAY, DINNER SORTED.

One of the best things about taking a Hot Smoked Salmon side away with you? Nobody has to stand around the braai cooking dinner.

It’s already cooked. Simply thaw, whip up a quick creamy mash, throw together a salad and put the whole salmon on the table. It looks like you’ve made a serious effort when, really, you haven’t.

Perfect for beach houses, weekends away, holidays and those nights when everyone is hungry but nobody feels like cooking.

And because our salmon is freezer happy for up to 8 months, you can buy it now and keep it ready for the next escape.

THE CLEVER MUMS’ CLUB 🥂

You know the group. Someone has a brilliant salad recipe, someone knows exactly which w**e to open, someone has a shortcut for feeding ten people without spending the whole day in the kitchen — and everyone shares.

That’s the kind of food we love. Good ingredients, easy recipes, long lunches and plenty passed around the table.

Our Raw Reserve fits right in: beautiful Norwegian salmon tucked away in the freezer, ready for family dinners, lunches with friends or the inevitable “shall we just have everyone here?”

And unlike most fresh fish, our salmon is freezer happy for up to 8 months, so there’s no rush to use it.

We’ll be sharing recipes, salads, sides, entertaining ideas and the w**es that go particularly well with them — because the best ideas are usually the ones mums pass on to each other.

WEEKENDS NEED SALMON.

The kind you can put straight in the middle of the table, add a big salad, fresh lemon and good bread — and lunch is sorted.

Our Norwegian salmon is made for exactly this: family lunches, friends dropping in, easy dinners and those days when you really don’t feel like making a production out of feeding everyone.

And one of the best things about salmon? It’s freezer happy. Keep it frozen for up to 8 months, so you can stock up now and know there’s always something rather lovely waiting when you need it.

THE FREEZER BEFORE SUMMER STARTS.

This is the bundle for the weeks when family arrives, friends stay longer than planned, the kids are hungry and suddenly everyone is at your house.

Our Summer Reserve gives you three very different salmon options in one freezer:

🐟 1 Hot-Smoked Norwegian Salmon Side — already cooked. Defrost it, slip it out of the vacuum pack, slide it onto a platter, add a couple of salads and lunch is done.

🐟 6 × 200g Norwegian Salmon Portions — individually packed for quick dinners, the braai, bowls, salads or an easy meal for one or two.

🐟 500g Smoked Salmon Ribbons — breakfast, bagels, scrambled eggs, salads, platters or an easy summer lunch.

The best bit? Receive your order, put it straight into the freezer and forget about it until you need it.

Our salmon is wonderfully freezer happy for up to 8 months. No panic to use everything immediately. No last-minute dash to the shops because somebody has decided to stay for dinner.

One box. A rather well-prepared freezer. A lot of summer meals sorted.

THIS is what we mean by having salmon in the freezer.

A full table. Friends and family squeezed in. Salads everywhere. Someone dealing the UNO cards. And a beautiful side of salmon in the middle-without you spending the whole day in the kitchen.

It really can be this easy:

Receive it. Put it in the freezer. Defrost when you need it. Slip it out of the vacuum packaging, slide it straight onto a platter and serve with your favourite sides.

That’s especially brilliant with our hot-smoked Norwegian salmon — it arrives already cooked and ready to serve.

Our salmon is freezer happy for up to 8 months, so you can have it tucked away for holidays, family visits, spontaneous lunches and the inevitable “stay for dinner?”

Good food ready. Add a few sides. Call your people. That’s our kind of entertaining.

10 PORTIONS. 10 DINNERS SORTED.

This is probably the bundle I’d keep in my own freezer.

10 individually packed 200g Norwegian salmon portions — so you’re not defrosting a whole side when you only need dinner for one or two.

Take out exactly what you need. Pan-fry it. Air-fry it. Throw it on the braai. Add it to a salad, pasta or rice bowl. And when somebody unexpectedly stays for dinner, take out another portion.

The other brilliant thing about salmon? It’s freezer happy. Properly frozen, ours can stay tucked away for up to 8 months, so there’s no rush to use it like ordinary fresh fish.

Good food in the freezer = one less thing to think about.

THIS is why we keep salmon in the freezer.

A salmon portion, avocado, crunchy leaves and something creamy on top. Lunch without much planning — which is often the best kind.

Our 10 Portion Bundle gives you 10 individually packed 200g Norwegian salmon portions, so you only take out what you need.

And one of our favourite things about salmon? It’s freezer happy for up to 8 months. Perfect for busy weeks, family dinners, holidays and those last-minute “are you staying for dinner?” moments.

Delivered in Cape Town every Thursday & Friday.

THE ENTERTAINER’S RESERVE

There’s a certain confidence in knowing you can say “come for lunch” without immediately wondering what on earth you’re going to feed everyone.

Two whole Hot Smoked Norwegian Salmon sides, already cooked and waiting in your freezer. Take them out, thaw, add a few good salads, fresh bread and something cold to drink. Lunch sorted.

And that’s the lovely thing about salmon -unlike ordinary fresh fish, ours is freezer happy for up to 8 months. Buy it when you’re organised. Eat it when life isn’t.

The Entertainer’s Reserve was made for summer holidays, family arriving, long lunches and those spontaneous “shall we all come to yours?” messages.
