Those who know me really well, know how I feel about a Sunday lunch. And for those who don't, I will always find any possible reason to avoid cooking it, attending it, having it. But a Sunday supper is another story... And it doesn't have to be special, but 90% of the time there must be pumpkin - and it must be a big bowl. I prefer the ones from . It's not only cut and super fresh, but if you buy two, you get R10 off - so a win-win.
All I do is melt butter and sugar till it's golden, add pumpkin and a cinnamon stick or two (optional), turn down the heat a little, close the lid and let it do its thing. Don't stir it, just swirl the pot if it gets too sticky, and enjoy when ready!
