Prior to opening Baht, we reached out to Emma to see if she wanted to leave her office job to work with us as the General Manager of Baht. Although Emma didn't have a full hospitality background, what was most important for Baht was her amazing personality. Emma is the most genuine, hardworking and kindest person you will come across. Emma took any guest concerns seriously, maybe sometimes too seriously to the point it upset her if someone didn't enjoy the food. She ensured everyone was looked after to the best of her ability and welcomed everyone to Baht as if it was her own home. We had a lot of fun together as a team and shared so many life moments together. We are so grateful for Emma and we wish her the best of luck in life and success for when she finds her next job. If anyone hires her, we guarantee it will be the best decision you make. 🙏💗💗
A message from Emma;
Since the very first day that Baht opened, it has been more than just a workplace to me. It’s has been a family, a home, and a place where I grew, learned, and shared so many memories. As we say goodbye, I want to thank everyone who has been part of this journey, the team who became friends, the customers who became regulars. I have had the honor of welcoming you through our doors, serving you, talking with you, celebrating your milestones, and even sharing quick little moments of everyday life has been one of the greatest parts of my job.
As the manager since day one, I’ve watched this restaurant grow because of you. Your support, your patience, your loyalty, and your warmth. You turned a simple dining room into a community. You brought energy to quiet evenings, laughter to busy nights, and comfort to the hardest days. For that, I am endlessly grateful.
Thank you for every visit, every smile, every conversation, and every moment you shared with us. You have made this journey unforgettable. I wish you all happiness, good health, and many wonderful meals ahead. It has been my absolute privilege to serve you.
