🖤❤️ VIERA EAST FRIENDS… WE HAVE SOME DISAPPOINTING NEWS.

Unfortunately, tomorrow's Viera East Farmers Market has been canceled due to the threat of rain and high winds. The grounds are already flooded and saturated, so the organizers made the difficult decision to cancel the market.

We know how disappointing this is. We've already seen some of your comments about missing us tomorrow, and believe us, we're just as disappointed. We genuinely look forward to seeing our Viera customers every month, catching up, and sending you home with your favorite hummus and pita.

But here's the good news! We're coming right back to Brevard County NEXT WEEKEND, and we'd absolutely love for our Viera friends to make the trip over to Melbourne or Grant to see us!

To everyone who's already reached out, commented, or expressed disappointment about tomorrow, thank you. It means more than you know that you look forward to seeing us as much as we look forward to seeing you.

So if you can make it to Melbourne Saturday evening or Grant Sunday, please come find us. We'd love to catch up, see some familiar faces, and make up for this weekend!

Well damn! We're sorry Melbourne friends. 🖤❤️

If you know us, you know we don’t cancel! So this is definitely not an announcement we wanted to make. 💚

With the unpredictable rainfall, saturated grounds at Woodside Park, and continued uncertainty in the forecast, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Viera East Farmers Market.

We know how much time and effort our amazing vendors put into preparing, and the last thing we want is for anyone to get caught in unexpected weather or spend over an hour seeking shelter like we recently experienced!

☔ This rainy season has certainly been one to remember! But we’re choosing to look on the bright side… that just means our upcoming HOLIDAY MARKETS are going to be even more special! 🎄✨

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and appreciate everyone’s understanding. The safety of our vendors, shoppers, and community will always come first.

🖤❤️ Three days of rain, two markets on the calendar, and a whole lot of hummus to make!

Brevard County and Brooksville, we're looking forward to seeing you this Saturday, October 10th! We're bringing our fresh, preservative-free hummus, pita bread, and baked pita chips to two different markets, including our very first appearance at Broad Street Brewing Company.

We know the weather has been a mess lately, and with everything happening along the Gulf Coast, we're keeping an eye on local conditions. As of now, we're planning to attend both events, and if either organizer makes changes, we'll let everyone know.

Otherwise, we're carrying on as usual, making hummus from scratch and getting ready for another busy weekend. Hopefully Mother Nature decides she's had enough fun for one week!

Most market vendors have help. 99.99999999% of them all have help! They have family, a wife or husband, kids, or business partners to lend a hand. They get help with day to day operations like shopping, food prep, making food, loading and setting up at events, marketing, emails, looking for new markets, taxes, and business crap on the backend. And we haven't even discussed all the vendors NOT physically prepping, making, packaging, and/or labeling their products but that's for another day!

We're the 0.00000001% with zero help. No marketing or social media help. No shopping help. No business partner or backend help. No market day set up help. Nothing!

If you ever wondered why we're never early, this may just be the reason. Most people would've given up by now but here we are, but that has us questioning our sanity.

Answer: Yes we're insane! 🤦‍♂️

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us this past weekend in Cedar Key, Inverness, & Titusville. We truly appreciate you all more than you know. Playalinda Brewing Company & Cedar Key Farmers Market, thank you both for always being so welcoming. We love your communities which is why we keep coming back! 🖤❤️

Also, we'd like to send a huge thank you to all of the customers and vendor friends who stopped by and asked about us and our moms and just how life's been going around here lately. We seriously can't thank you enough for all of your support and compassion, as we definitely felt the love.

We have 2 markets this coming Saturday in Viera at the Viera East Farmer's Market and then we're headed to a night market at Broad Street Brewing Co. in Brooksville.
