What a week it’s been… and it’s only just the beginning..💖🫶

This week has been incredibly busy here at Megan’s Starr, but moments like this make every bit of hard work worthwhile.

On Monday, we welcomed the first group of young people onto our brand newly designed Building Futures Employability Programme.

Many of them arrived expecting an individual plan, understandably feeling a little nervous about meeting new people. But it didn’t take long before conversations started, friendships began to form and everyone was working together through some fun team-building activities.

Watching those smiles appear, seeing confidence start to grow and hearing laughter around the room reminded us exactly why we created this programme.

Over the next six weeks these amazing young people will have the opportunity to build confidence, gain practical work experience, develop new skills and work towards recognised qualification, but perhaps most importantly, they’ll discover what they’re capable of.

This is just the beginning, and we genuinely can’t wait to watch each of them grow.

Here’s to an exciting journey ahead! 💚⭐
