The Great House property comprises a total of 20,000 square feet under beautiful pastel tiled roofs offering a variety of special areas to accommodate large and small weddings, events and special occasions. Our air-conditioned banquet halls can seat up to 500 guests! A true Virgin Islands treasure among corporate event service companies with its unmatched attention to providing quality cuisine paired with unforgettable presentation and service coordination. Our client list includes IBM, Goodyear, American Airlines, Phizer,AT&T and Ford Motors among many others. Status Update: Thank you so very much to everyone who has reached out, asking how we are doing! We really appreciate it more than you know. It's been quite a while, but we are still in recovery mode at The Greathouse, and will continue to remain closed for now. We look forward to possibly being able to serve you, once again, at some point in the future!

Recovery Update: We want to thank everyone that has reached out to us to check in, with interest in booking events, reservations, or just to say hi! We really appreciate it more than you know. We are still in recovery mode but getting closer with our plans and as we make more progress we will be able to give you a projected date for reopening. Until then, have a very happy holiday season, we can’t wait to serve you again!

Good Afternoon! We wanted to let you know that the Greathouse and Blue Orchid are still undergoing repairs from the two category 5 hurricanes. As soon as we have a reopening date we will be sure to update you. We are looking forward to getting back to doing what we love, providing you with a venue for your next event, and serving you the delicious cuisine from the Blue Orchid. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Clare moved to St. Thomas a year and a half ago from Colorado to pursue her career in the hospitality & tourism industry. She is the Event Manager at the Estate St. Peter Greathouse & Botanical Gardens. One of her favorite things about the Virgin Islands is the beautiful warm weather and laid back lifestyle!☀️
