Located right at the beach, the intimate and charming 20 room Anegada Reef Hotel was opened in 1976 by Lowell and Vivian Wheatley and is now operated by their children Lawrence Wheatley. The hotel rooms have all the modern amenities including air conditioning, coffee makers and irons. The rooms and patios are spacious and tastefully decorated with a cool,

s have an airy feel with new shaded entrances. The extended bathroom area offers a beautifully tiled extra large shower and granite vanity. Additional amenities include hair dryer and mini fridge. New, fresh and beautiful appointments complement the setting in the standard rooms offering comfort and a quiet retreat with view of the ocean or landscaped gardens. Lawrence will do everything to please all guests and ensure all their special needs are graciously attended to. The hotel offers many activities and side trips to keep you as active as you'd like, or just kick back, borrow a book from their collection, and feel the sand between your toes! Some nights you plan.

And some nights turn into stories you’ll be telling long after the tan lines fade.

The other night, Anegada Reef Hotel had the pleasure of welcoming not one, but two incredible groups.

A special thank you to the Moorings Owners Flotilla for choosing to spend the evening with us. Seeing friends gather, laugh, and celebrate barefoot by the sea is exactly what island life is all about.

And then there was Big Jeff.

Captain by day. Entertainer by night.

With guitar in hand and sand beneath his feet, Big Jeff turned dinner into a singalong and strangers into friends. Before long, everyone was clapping, dancing, and forgetting what time it was.

Because that’s the thing about Anegada Reef Hotel.

People may arrive on different boats…

But somehow, by the end of the night, everyone feels like they’re part of the same crew.

Thank you, Big Jeff, for the music.

Thank you, Moorings Owners Flotilla, for letting us be part of your adventure.

Today, we’re celebrating one of our own. 💙🎓

Congratulations to Shyanne, Class of 2026, for graduating as the Top Business Student and finishing 3rd in her class.

Success like this doesn’t happen overnight. It takes discipline, determination, and countless hours of hard work. And today, all of that effort has paid off beautifully.

We are incredibly proud of the young woman you’ve become and excited for all that lies ahead. The future is bright, and we have no doubt that this is only the beginning.
