We are really excited about these absolutely massive bacon wrapped scallops Chef Cory has prepared for you with pickled jalapeños and carrots, corn purée and finished with cilantro oil. These are absolutely delicious and guaranteed to sell out. Buuuuuuut…. Can we get a huge shout out to our closing crew!?! These people have been absolutely killing it in the kitchen this past week and they are going to give it their all this week coming. We love you so much more than you will ever know 🥰🥰

We’ve been told Kayleen has been gate keeping this recipe her entire life. She shares this with no one, and she’s decided this is the time, and we agree!! Tonight, and hopefully if she can keep up, until the day we close Kayleen will be making this luxurious, one of a kind tiramisu. We can promise you haven’t had tiramisu like this before. The Old Market House Inn will be serving it's last call on Friday, May 30th at 11pm. We invite you join us in celebration of our 51 year legacy. Please help us in congratulating James Cappano and his family with their new venture, Market Street Prime.

We have a deepest love and admiration for our community and staff, and know that this will be an emotional two weeks. All who have walked through our doors have played a part in writing our history, and though this may be the final chapter we want to thank each and every customer and employee for their dedication and support over the years.
We could not have done this without you. It is with love in our hearts and tears in our eyes we say, Thank you Zanesville, we love you.

This weather has been perfect for two things here in Ohio; ramps and fiddleheads! These two items are foraged in Ohio and they thrive in damp spring weather. Kayleen used almost 100% of the ramps, using the tops for pesto and the bulbs for pickling. She combined these, cream, her house-made ramp butter, sun-dried tomatoes, Romano, fiddleheads, Adornetto’s pasta, and topped it all off with blackened shrimp! Perfect for spring and your tummies. This week as our special Chef Cory has created a tangy teriyaki grilled swordfish served over a savory pineapple risotto, topped with spicy micro-greens guaranteed to please your palate.
