The real question is… WHIPPED CREAM or MERINGUE? 👀🥧

In my family, we grew up eating meringue pies. They were part of the holidays, part of the memories, and just part of what made Thanksgiving feel like Thanksgiving.

And now my kids eat meringue pies, too. I love that something as simple as a pie can carry a little piece of our family from one generation to the next. ❤️

And honestly… what’s not to love about a giant, fluffy, marshmallow-y topping piled high on a homemade pie?

But Thanksgiving is coming, and you have decisions to make.

I have been working on this recipe for a week or so and I can say I think it’s perfected! 😍

I’m very picky about my cake for tres leches being a true sponge cake and adding pumpkin to a sponge cake isn’t the easiest.

Today I officially renewed my ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification!

Food safety is something I take seriously, especially as a small, family-owned bakery and deli. ServSafe certification has to be renewed every 5 years, which helps ensure we’re staying up to date with the latest food safety guidelines, practices, and requirements.

There’s always something new to learn, and I’m proud to continue educating myself so we can provide our customers with food that is not only delicious, but prepared and handled safely.
