ITS ABOUT THAT TIME! My, how the time does fly by... Summer is over...😭😭 So while the powers that be start to thaw Mariah Carey from her Christmas carbonite tomb; CHURNED STAYS FRIGID, BITCH!!!

So stay icy with us this holiday season with the OG Ice Cream Advent Calendar - 24 Days of Churnmas ( thank you ).

Don't know what the hell we're talking about? We're talking 24 days, 24 different custom flavors, 4oz each, made fresh by the dork in the first picture. Last year we hit you with some really WILD flavors. Some of you would have rathered coal in your stockings...so we decided that we will be nice instead of naughty this year. We're bringing 12 classic holiday flavors as well as 12 flavors inspired by each month of the year. Please understand that we aren't buying mass produced ice cream, we are thoughtfully curating this calendar for you. These take a lot of time to put together, so if you are purchasing a calendar 1. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and 2. Please adhere to the pick up time you select.

Join us for a scoop and a pint on the patio Sunday 7/19!! Grab some snacks and a pint of some of the best craft b**r around!

We will have several scoops available in a cup or cone (flavors TBD). We will also GLADLY add a scoop of Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream to Batch's Cobblestone Stout OR a scoop of Mango Strawberry Swirl to Batch's Sundrift American Wheat!

HOLY BOMB POP ICE CREAM!?

Hey Scoopsters,

We released our July Flavors a few days ago - allowing those who have subscribed to our storefront first access. SO IF YOU WANT FIRST ACCESS SUBSCRIBE TO OUR STOREFRONT!!

So America is 250 years old this 4th of July and while we are sure that we do not want to celebrate what is currently happening in this country...we do still believe in Liberty and Justice for ALL. We won't accept anything less than that. That's why a portion of our proceeds will be going to an organization that supports our freedoms.

While we can't keep the ICE out of our cream, we can continue to stand up and be a safe space for those who are being persecuted. As a 4th generation immigrant, I am proud that my great grandfather came to America in search of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But this is not the America he dreamed of. We can do better - We NEED to do better. If anyone has suggestions on organizations that align with these pursuits - please comment them down below.

What up, scoopsters? Allow us to reintroduce ourselves; it's Churned! Bet you didn't see that coming. We thought a little brand refresh was in order! It's been awfully quiet over here and we weren't sure what the future looked like for our little creamery. BUT WE'RE BACK BABY! Thawed out like Mariah Carey on Thanksgiving! We needed to get excited about ice cream again so that YOU got excited about our ice cream again too! Did it work?

Listen...being a small business is hard. Being a small business in this economy is even harder. Being a micro small business like us is even harder still! Most days we don't do this for the money. We do this because nothing brings people together better than food.

While our logo is fresh and new, our mission here at Churned rings true - we are a small business supporting other small businesses. So if you love our new logo, head over to and give Sara lots of love because she exceeded our expectations! And PLEASE for the love of God STOP USING AI SLOP! If we can spend the money to have a local artist create our logo and all of the cool stickers we will have at events this year THEN YOU CAN TOO!

Who's ready to heat up with a weekend of brews, jigs and delicious Scottish food?

Join us for their annual Burn's Night hosted with on Saturday January 24th

Food will start at 1pm and go until we sell out... So come sell us out! We turned Ackroyd's Millionaire Shortbread into a tasty frozen treat and even added a new addition this year that will be a hit with the kiddos and adults! Authentic Scottish Irn-Bru will be flowing over our marshmallow ice cream.

So join us for brews, food, and festivities! There will be dancers and bagpipes and traditional Burn's Night traditions. You'll be packed in like sardines but you'll be warm and among friends. With a night like that, who wouldn't want to share a pint?!

Dive into 12 unique flavors with Metro Detroit's OG Ice Cream Advent Calendar! Look, we know other ice cream places are hopping on our coattails but we can guarantee FRESH and HOMEMADE flavors. This is our 3rd year bringing you fun themes that you don't find anywhere else.

This year we are only doing 12 flavors - hey, our first calendar was also only 12 flavors! We are taking the time that would have been spent on the other 12 flavors and giving back to our community! We are volunteering and donating our time and resources to those who are/will experience food insecurity this holiday season.

Limited supplies are being made so snag yours before they are all sold out!

For those who guessed what flavor we were making...CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR! It was PB&J Ice Cream! The request made by our 4 year old nephew on his birthday. PB&J ice cream is a toasted sourdough based ice cream, with chunky peanut butter and a jelly or jam of your choice, with candied sourdough croutons. You're probably thinking "How did a 4 year old come up with that?" Well... He didn't. But his Aunt B can't do some basic ice cream. She's gotta step it up a notch. Give us an idea, we'll run with it.

Y'all had lots of good guesses! Clearly some of you are looking for a French Toast flavored ice cream!! We can take a hint 😉

Watching people like Becca bring real joy to the community reminds me what all this filming is about. It’s not just ice cream 🌸 it’s the smile it creates, the way it brings people together, and the heart behind it all.
