Celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial as Canton marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with an unforgettable night in Heritage Park next Thursday, July 9, starting at 6:30 p.m. Festivities will include live music, food trucks, family fun, and a fireworks finale!

Canton Ignites the Night, sponsored by Schoolcraft College and Advanced Orthodontics, will feature a welcome from Canton Supervisor Anne Marie Graham Hudak, along with the announcement of Canton’s America 250 Poster Contest winners.

Activities will include bounce houses, face painting, a craft station, and more! And don’t worry—there’s not a bad spot in Heritage Park to enjoy the fireworks just after dark. The park is located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road.
