The last two weeks were a degree of intensity that I havent felt in a very, very long time. From a last minute motor rebuild to preparing to go to our first Canfield Fair to handling all of our personal lives (there's so many kids and school just started 😅), its hard to put into words what I feel in my heart.

Ill try..

Im grateful to our families for putting up with our silly dreams of selling hotdogs.. They hold us up when we are exhausted and feed us when we've spent our days feeding others. Their patience with us is especially noteworthy. They are the real foundation that keeps the machine running.

Im grateful for Ashlea Victoria Duck and Build Your Own Breakfast LLC for so many things. Im so proud of her as the entrepreneur/restaurateur that she is becoming. 5 kids, 2 businesses, and keeping tabs on me is no easy task, but she handles it with grace and grit. Former mentee and current best friend, shes the life force for Suzie's

Im grateful to Nick and Audree. They have been with us since the beginning. A rarity in this industry. We are not always easy to work for. We have high standards, we are hungry and driven and at times its hard to keep up... but these guys do it. Week in and week out. Small plates, caterings for 200+ people, load ups and prep for last minute events... on top of weekend dinner service and doordash and THEY JUST CRUSH IT. Im proud to call them my team.. but even more, we are family.

Im grateful to all of the other weenies that make an appearance from time to time Gabrielle, Lillee, Payton Albano, Ro, and so many others.

Im grateful to Penguin City - Youngstown, OH for letting us anchor our ship while we got back into the swing of things and built our killer team.

We were only able to assemble this cast of characters because of you. You have given us this opportunity to build this family and for that I am forever grateful.

You, our guests, are literally everything. We do this for you. We want you to be proud of something in the City of YOUngstown. The number of stories I heard from fairgoers this past week is mind boggling. So many great memories of time spent with family and friends in a space that I shaped for just that. All these years later, hearing the love and warmth in the recounting of these memories douses any doubts i may have had about the impact we had in our community.

Selling hotdogs probably isn't going to change the world, but loving our neighbors and wanting to bring together our city is a good start. We love you all and appreciate you more than you know.

Keep an eye on the page for upcoming event appearances and locations for service. We are excited to step into this next chapter of mobility!

Let's go Youngstown
