Famously known as “Brier Hill style,” this beloved pizza originated in the early 1930s in Youngstown, Ohio, with roots in the Basilicata region of Italy. Crafted with a thick, sweet tomato sauce, bell peppers, and Romano cheese, it captures the community spirit of its namesake neighborhood.

🇮🇹 Each slice carries the legacy of Italian immigrants who used leftover flour to create thick crusts topped with garden-fresh veggies and Romano cheese. This tradition started in St. Anthony’s kitchens and has grown into a Youngstown icon.
