Good morning Folks. For years on end we have been having our family restaurant run as a whole. My father opened up business in 2007 and we have been running ever since. Started in Dekalb, Elburn and of course now here in the wonderful community of Yorkville ❤️. I always told myself I wouldn't imagine running our restaurant without him. As of a few months ago that sad reality has hit us. My father is officially retiring and going to be back and forth to his hometown and here🙏. It is a bittersweet moment for us all. As of today Cocina Madre will be passing down the torch to our Aunt and Uncle who also own Mi Cielito in Plano as well as The Little Market❤️ This decision has been made very difficult for us to make but nonetheless it is the best decision for our family. Cocina Madre will forever be grateful for the wonderful 7 years Yorkville has given us. Thousands of memories, thousands of wonderful people, thousands of endless laughs. My family and I will still be a part of the New Chapter for now and always. Our Aunt and Uncle plan on keeping the same concept with their own touch of love! This for us will forever be a place we call home. To the Community of Yorkville and it's wonderful surrounding areas Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for the 7 years you have given us. We couldn't have made it this far without you ALL. Business will continue for "San Lorenzo" effective Tuesday September 1st🌮. Yorkville we will be seeing you around so come on in and show them the same love and support you have showed us though out the years🙏. We truly are grateful for EVERYTHING and look forward to see what our next chapter brings my family and I.❤️
