I love cooking and baking, and grew up doing both with my mom. I watched her make masterpieces from our dinners to wedding cakes, cookies, and European desserts! I loved seeing what all she could create with her two hands that made everyone's mouths water and stomachs happy. Now I want to follow in her footsteps! I have been baking cakes, cupcakes, creating custom sugar cookies, and event creations for years. I would take them to events and loved seeing the reaction of the people I was gifting them too. Their happiness made my heart smile. Now as a retired, empty nester, I have opened up my home kitchen to make all of these treats available for you to enjoy. 🍂🍪 A little behind-the-scenes peek at last weekend’s “Suite Session” DIY Cookie Decorating Class! 🍪🍂

I had the pleasure of spending time with some wonderful ladies at Coastal Church, and we had an absolute blast! 💗

For this class, we embraced the fall season with a pumpkin, a leaf, and a cozy mug cookie design. Everyone did an AMAZING job! 🧡🤎

But don’t just take my word for it! 🥰 Here’s some of the sweet feedback I received from the ladies after class:

💬 “This was way more fun than I expected.”

💬 “My cookies looked so good. I took them home and wouldn’t let anyone eat them for the longest time. I just wanted everyone to admire my work.” 😂❤️

💬 “I definitely wanna do this again! Diann made it easier than I expected.”

💬 “The family thought I was bringing home the class samples instead of the ones that I had decorated because they look so good!” 🥹💕

These are the moments that make teaching cookie decorating so rewarding! It’s not just about learning a new skill or going home with pretty cookies. It’s about having fun, trying something new, spending time together, and discovering that you can create something beautiful yourself!

A huge thank-you to Robin for organizing this and the ladies at Coastal Church for welcoming me and making this such a fun and memorable “Suite Session”! 💗

The theme was “Little Golfer is on the Way,” and I had so much fun creating these cookies and diaper golf bag to help celebrate little Colton’s arrival. 🏌️‍♂️👶🏼💙

The special part of all was being able to attend this beautiful celebration in person and share such a precious moment with my niece, family, and friends! There truly is nothing better than being able to combine something I love—creating sweet treats—with making memories with the people I love. ❤️

💍✨ What a beautiful weekend celebrating our niece and her new husband! ✨💍

We had the most wonderful experience attending their beautiful wedding. What a gorgeous bride! ❤️ The ceremony was lovely, the reception was so much fun, and it was such a joy to celebrate this special couple!

I also had the greatest honor of creating sweet treats for their wedding celebration. It meant so much to me to be able to make these for such a beautiful day! 🥰

🍋 Their cut cake: Lemon cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry filling.

🧁 Wedding cupcakes: Vanilla, chocolate, and lemon each decorated with swirl roses and hydrangeas. My talented daughter, Steph, helped me decorate the cupcakes, and that was such a huge help—and a great experience getting to create them together! ❤️

🍪 Custom sugar cookies: Each guest received a custom-designed sugar cookie made to coordinate with the couple’s wedding colors and theme—a little treat to take home and remember their special day!

Being able to attend this beautiful wedding and contribute a little bit of sweetness to their celebration made the weekend even more special. It truly was an honor! 💕✨

The theme was “Something Blue Before I Say I Do” and it couldn’t have been more perfect for such a special celebration. 💍👰‍♀️

The cookie set featured elegant bridal designs including “I Do,” wedding dresses, rings, florals, and delicate blue accents throughout for that timeless something blue touch. 💙🌸💍

Had so much fun creating these sweet treats for a special baby shower today! 🐞🌸💗

The theme was ladybugs with the sweetest message: “A Little Lady Is on the Way!” 👶🎀

The dessert table featured custom-decorated sugar cookies with pink and red ladybugs, sweet daisies, leaves with little ladybugs, and more! 🐞🌼🍃

We also had vanilla, chocolate, and lemon cupcakes topped with creamy vanilla icing in a beautiful rose swirl, finished with delicate daisies. 🧁🌸

It was such a joy creating this special cake for a beautiful young lady who will soon be going from Miss to Mrs! 💍🤍

Her bridal shower was the perfect beach-themed celebration, and this cake fit right in! 🐚🌊 The cake was delicious vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, topped with handmade chocolate seashells for a little touch of the beach. 🐚

Wishing this sweet bride-to-be all the happiness as she begins this beautiful new chapter! 💕🥂
