We’re officially giving the Tuna Poke Tots a break in the conversation…

Next up is one that deserves its moment for the summer: house-made biscuits with pimento cheddar spread!

They come out warm and soft, meant for sharing (though that part tends to depend on who you’re sitting with). It’s one of those appetizers that starts with everyone politely nibbling away, ends with everyone realizing it’s almost gone and arguing about who gets the last bite. 😂

Pimento cheese can be a hit or miss for people, but this version usually handles the convincing on its own😏.

Have you tried our House Lager? 5.6% ABV pale lager, crisp and easy-drinking, brewed with 100% Virginia grown malt. And brewed specifically at/for The Kitchen! It’s the kind of beer that just fits right in with whatever’s coming out of our kitchen… wings included 😉

As we embark upon the summer season, we are reminded that the days we are about to enjoy would not be possible without the efforts of those who have served our country, and those who have sacrificed all, so that we may gather together freely to share cheers with one another.

Our ability to operate and look forward to our time together is due in no small part to those who protect us, and we will be raising a round to all who've served and those we've lost today in commemoration of Memorial Day. We are grateful — now and forever.

Both brewery locations are open today. We'd be happy to host you and yours as we spend the day celebrating community and those who make days like these possible. 🇺🇸 🍻

Gotta give a Sunday shoutout to our nearby neighbors at Gus's New York Pizza! We make a lot of things here at the brewpub but 'za isn't one of them. Gus's has been helping to fuel the occasional brew day and pre-dinner rush for our Production and Kitchen teams when the craving for a slice comes our way.

And talk about neighborly love...they also have some of The Virginia Beer Company's brews on tap! You can even find fresh Gorgeous pouring right here at the Yorktown area location (and it doesn't get much fresher than that)! 🍕🍺🍕

Lots of local love in this industry, and in this community. We're grateful for all the love that's been sent our way in the early months of getting our feet under us. We intend to send it right back into the community (and then some). Get to Gus's the next time you're in Grafton!

Long Weekend, ahoy! We're offering a fresh catch special for the start of summer. Introducing: the Blacktip Shark BLT! Pan-seared Atlantic Blacktip Shark Steak, sustainably harvested by local fishermen fresh from the coast of Hatteras. Served on Grilled Sourdough with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, & house made Lime Aioli.

Kitchen, Bar, Brewery, & Patio open all weekend from 11 am - 9 pm (including Monday). 🥓🥬🍅 We can't wait to welcome you soon!

Started screen recording because I totally knew where this conversation was heading. 😅

(Totally kidding.) But we *are* serious about one thing… if you’re making plans anywhere around Yorktown, there’s a good chance The Kitchen, from the Virginia Beer Co. belongs somewhere in that group chat. 🍻

Right here at 7120 George Washington Memorial Highway, The Kitchen was built to be more than “just a brewery.” We’re talking a true craft brewpub, an in-house brewing program, a full bar, and a from-scratch kitchen where even the sauces are made in-house. The mantra is Beer, People, Purpose… quality matters, and so does doing things the right way.

Inside, you’ve got a warm bar and dining space built for date nights, family dinners, catching up with old friends, or having that one drink and a quick bite. Outside, with the final touches finally underway… our beer garden is getting really close to being ready. ☀️🔥 Thank you to everyone who has supported us through our opening stages — we appreciate any and all feedback to create the best experience for our community!
