I started YK Deli & Smoothies on July 15, 2023. ❤️
From the beginning, I truly loved what I was doing. I loved making good food, using quality ingredients, and serving food that is fresh and made with care.
When I decided to grow and open a bigger dine-in restaurant, everything changed. A bigger restaurant brought more expenses, more employees, more responsibilities, and much more stress.
I have continued fighting to keep the business going because I love what I do and I don’t want to give up on something I have worked so hard to build.
So I want to be open and honest with my customers.
We will be making some changes to our menu prices.
I understand that everyone is dealing with higher costs, and this isn’t an easy decision for me. The changes are necessary to help cover our expenses while allowing us to continue using quality ingredients and serving the food you expect from us.
I am giving this business the next 3 months and doing everything I possibly can to make it work. 🙏
If, after these three months, the business still cannot support itself, I may have no other choice but to close the dine-in restaurant.
I sincerely hope it doesn’t come to that. I want to stay open, continue serving our community, and keep providing jobs for the people who work with me.
For the next three months, I am going to give it everything I have. ❤️
Every meal you order, every visit, every recommendation, and every time you share our business with your friends and family truly makes a difference.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me through the good days and the difficult ones. I appreciate you more than I can put into words.
I hope these next three months can be the beginning of a better chapter, not the end of our story. ❤️🙏
