Want to make coming to Calico cheap and easy. $50 gets you a season pass good for entrance to the park for a carload of 4 all year long. One visit with 4 people is $32, so on your second visit it already paid for itself. And better yet show us your season pass at the restaurant and get 10% off on meals. Come up often and that pass is basically paid for.

So come on up to Calico, stop at the gate, say hey I want to get a season pass and you are set, ready to come and go to town as you please. No more paying to park and shop or eat. Maybe you just want to get away, get some Thrifty ice cream or a birthday gift, show the visiting family a fun time at the attractions, so much to see and do. Did someone say Biscuits and Gravy, Pancakes, Bacon and Eggs on the back deck of the Calico House Restaurant this weekend???? We open at 8am and town officially opens at 9am so parking is easy, come on up.

There is nothing like having breakfast or coffee on the deck of the restaurant in the early morning. Temperature is comfortable, the view of King Mountain is fantastic, the town is quiet and the serenity of the area is so peaceful. That is why on Saturdays and Sundays the restaurant starts serving at 8am, an hour before the town opens at 9am. So come eat, relax, bring the dog, and then enjoy the town. When describing the town of Calico the location across from the restaurant is called the horseshoe pit? HMM, just looks like an empty lot, I don't see any horseshoes? Well maybe this will answer the question how this area got its name. HORSESHOE PITCHING CHAMPIONSHIP
