After an incredible journey, it’s time for us to share some bittersweet news.

Our food trailer has officially changed ownership and is no longer operating in Yankton.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who stopped by our food truck, shared a meal with us, recommended us to a friend, or simply cheered us on. It has been an honor to bring a bite of Rome to our community through our pizza and pasta.

To our amazing customers, local businesses, thank you for believing in us and supporting our dream. The friendships we made and the memories we created will stay with us forever. You welcomed us with open arms, and for that we will always be grateful.

While this chapter has come to an end, the Mozzico story is far from over. We have some exciting new ideas in the works, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Last night was fantastic! Thank you for coming to our Chianti dinner at Levee Street Steak & Lounge and enjoying our food and music! Happy Christmas to you all! Buon Natale 🎄

Next 2 weeks are going to be busy busy:

First event this Friday at 7 pm at our "Mozzico family" location Levee Street Steak & Lounge where we are going to serve a 4 course meal paired with the quintessentially Italian Chianti wines from Villa Calcinaia. These wines are all top shelf and we are going to taste a glass for each of their their production, from a sparkling to the most complex and full bodied. There will be live music with Jorge Mena and also Daniela will sing some Italian operatic tunes.

Our second event will be at Armour Brewing Company, LLC where we will pair a 4 course meal with their delicious beers. The location is simply one of the best breweries we had the pleasure to partner with. Randy and Collier are absolutely amazing, the people in Armour are very welcoming and friendly and we couldn't be happier to go where people really appreciate us and our food.

Should you want to have your Mozzico fix before we re-open in spring, just bring yourself and your plus one to one of these two events. Tickets are limited.

So... here's the deal: a long family style table where we will serve a 4 course Italian meal paired with Chianti wines, live music, and a riverfront location. This is our last Yankton event for 2025. After that, it might be a while until you can get some Mozzico Food again.

After shopping Pink Friday at independent shops today, stop down to Levee Street Steak & Lounge and enjoy dinner and conversation over a bottle of wine.

To all the incredible people, breweries, and local businesses who have supported our little corner of Rome — grazie di cuore.

In a rural corner of the country where authentic Italian food is rare, your support has allowed us to bring a piece of Rome to the Midwest, one pizza slice at a time. You welcomed us, cheered for us, shared your tables, your patios, your stories, and trusted us to feed you. For that, we are forever grateful.

To the breweries, partners, or families who opened their doors and allowed us to create unforgettable nights of fun and Roman pizza—thank you. Your hospitality has helped us grow, connect, and serve thousands of people who might never have had “real pizza romana” and real Italian food otherwise. Thank you for continuing to allow us to bring the real Italian experience to the community, and sometimes in places where options are very limited. If you want us there, ask to your local brewery or to your local community organization to book a date with us!

As for us, we’ll keep doing what we love: making fresh, authentic Italian food, representing our culture with pride, wherever we go. Thank you for helping our small business thrive in a part of the country that has become home. We couldn’t have done it without you.
