We are on the hunt for a barista/server for our front of house. Looking for the right enthusiastic hard worker who loves to serve people!
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and providing friendly service to all customers. Minimum of every other weekend required.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
Take food orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Operate the Square POS system for order taking and cash handling efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques to ensure the highest quality of products.
Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Skills
Previous experience in the food industry.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
Familiarity with Square POS or similar cash handling systems is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
A willingness to help others, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration within the workplace.
A passion for creative coffee and culinary is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Every other Weekend Required.
$15-17 per hour
