A veteran family friends sent this to me, they are in Selah. Do we have anyone in need of either of these 2 items?

I’ve got a motorized wheelchair that was my grandmas, I’m wondering if the VFW knows of anyone in need? I’d like to be able to donate it. We’ve also got a push walker w storage bench.

Well it is official now, as of 1000 hr on 4/22, we now have a soft tip dart board at the post. If you have ever played, never played but wanted to, or just like to watch, then it can now happen. The board takes coin or paper (1, 5, 10, or 20) dollar bills. NOTE: does not make change, get that from the bartender. The cost per game is 50 cents for 301 or 501, 75 cents for cricket per person. If anyone has any other ideas let us know and we will see if we can make it happen. Game on!

Comrades, Sisters, Families and Friends, we're thrilled to announce that El Porton Mexican Restaurant is supporting a fantastic cause! On May 6, 2026, at their 48th & Tieton location, and on May 12 at their 1th Street, Union Gap location, they're generously donating 15% of their daily proceeds to the VFW Post 379 Auxiliary's fundraiser for on of our Comrade's granddaughter who is facing a cancer diagnosis. Plus, a donation jar will be available for additional contributions!

I wanted to put this out there for any interested in helping. Last night in the post meeting CVU president Kelvin Gaut shared with all there that Saturday 4/12 @ 0900. There is a veteran in need of help to clean his back yard. Any wish to support CVU in this, meet them at 6802 W Yakima

Easiest way to get there is turn north on 68th off of Tieton. That is at Papa Murphey pizza. Follow 68th and it will turn into W. Yakima Ave. And 6802 will be on the left corner.
