We will no longer be out tomorrow, the event was canceled
🚨 Block Party Weather Update 🚨
Unfortunately, Michigan weather has other plans for us this week.
Due to the forecasted rain and the impact it is expected to have on attendance, vendors, and activities, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow night's Boos & BBQ Block Party.
We are incredibly disappointed, as this was scheduled to be the final Block Party of the season, and we were looking forward to one last evening of live music, great food, shopping, and community fun. Thank you to everyone who supported this new event series throughout the summer, including our vendors, food trucks, musicians, businesses, volunteers, and all of the residents who came out to enjoy the events.
While this isn't how we hoped to wrap up the season, we're already looking ahead and building on what we've learned from launching this new event series.
The good news is we still have a few opportunities to connect before the year is over!
🌽 Friday Farmers Market - We still have two Fridays remaining this season.
🎄 Holiday Market - Join us on December 11th at the Allen Park Community Center for holiday shopping, local vendors, and seasonal fun.
Thank you again for your support of downtown Allen Park and the Allen Park DDA. We look forward to seeing you at our remaining events!
