Ciao Tuscany Family! It's Friday and the weekend is here. Erich is in Europe and has spent some time in Italy meeting with vendors and going to vineyards...and boy do we have some surprises coming back for you! More details later on that, but enjoy a couple pics before our big announcements. But now for why we're here... let's get to this weekends features.
For starters we have our fantastic peach buratta. It's grilled fresh peaches served over a lightly dressed arugula salad with prosciutto, basil and fresh buratta. Lightly drizzled with a balsamic reduction.
Next, something new for us that's sure to make your taste buds smack each other for the last bite ...we have Tuscan ragú. We braised short ribs in a Tuscan red wine with garlic, onions, celery, and carrots until it falls apart. The bone is then removed and a thick ragú is made with all the ingredients chopped together and reduced in the braising liquid. It's then served over fresh paperdelle pasta. This is the real deal folks🤯.
Lastly for our sea faring family members we offer Swordfish picatta. A beautiful piece of swordfish grilled and served charred broccolini served over fresh tagliatelle pasta tossed in a light lemon butter caper sauce. Topped with an amazing salsa Verde.
