You might think I'm biased when it comes to recommending this book, and in some ways, I guess I am. However, I read a lot of nonfiction, and I always love a good book about leadership because it's something I'm always trying to work on. When I say that this book is full of practical advice and valuable insight, I'm not just saying nice things about someone I love. I can honestly say that I read this book and took copious notes. Maybe the most insightful chapters are the ones about change--how hard it is to grieve something you've lost while at the same time welcoming what's new and possible. This is a book for everyone--we all lead something, and we are responsible both to the people that came before us and the ones who will come after us.

This Saturday November 5th we’re opening our doors one last time. Most of the big equipment is gone, although we do still have a walk-in cooler (only 2 years old), a coffee grinder, commercial toaster, and several countertop griddles. You’ll also find some miscellaneous board games (most brand new), some flavor syrups, and of course Copper Coin commemorative art prints. Our lucky bamboo is also up for grabs. I think it knows the soul has left 400 Chambers Street because I noticed today that the top is turning brown. 😭😭😭We’ll miss you, Woodstock!
