Since then, it has been passed on to his son's and 2nd generation owners Eugene & Alvin Tuttle. Eugene then passed it on to his son and 3rd generation owner Stanley Tuttle who is still the current owner today. We have been serving hand cut quality meats, smoked link sausage, summer sausage, dry sausage, breakfast sausage, jerky, and our very own barbecue seasonings and barbecue sauce for almost 90 years. We also have a daily breakfast and lunch in our dining area. As well as barbecue every Saturday. In addition to the meat market don't forget about our wild game processing which has become a big part of our business..

We’re proud to partner with Rockport-Fulton ISD & RFISD Child Nutrition Department & Glen's Packing Company for their Farm Fresh Challenge to serve locally raised Texas Beef to students for the rest of the school year! We just dropped our first delivery of 500 pounds!!! With majority of people wanting to know where their Beef comes from…Rockport-Fulton ISD parents can be at ease knowing their children are getting a Texas grown, Texas slaughtered, Texas ground & packaged product on their child’s plate!!

Happy Birthday, Matthew! Aka: Sheriff 🚓🤠
Today we’re celebrating a man who does so much not only for Tuttle’s, but for our local & surrounding communities as well. At Tuttles he oversees our meat market with pride and skill, keeps a tight grip on the finances and how much money I spend, (IYKYK 😅) and basically wears the COO/CFO hat around here all while serving as Sheriff of Refugio County, leading 40+ employees across four departments.
Yet somehow his plate is never full. He has a solution for every problem that comes his way, and we simply would not be where we are today without his hard work, determination, and steady leadership. Join us in wishing him a Happy Birthday! We’re are very proud of you and grateful for everything you do…..P.S…..to everyone who saw his post about me yesterday….yes our birthdays are 1 day apart!

Happy Birthday to the man behind the camera!!

If you follow our page you’ve probably seen plenty of Cody but if you come into the store there’s a good chance you’ve never actually seen him in person. 😂

He isn’t exactly what you’d call a “people person,” so he’s perfectly content staying in the processing plant and letting everybody else handle the socializing. Somehow though he’s also the one behind the camera keeping everybody informed on social media about what’s going on in the Tuttle’s world. So even when you don’t see him you still see plenty of him!

Behind the scenes he plays a huge part in keeping this place running every day. He keeps the meat ordered, keeps production moving, makes sure the shelves stay full and keeps us stocked and ready to serve every customer who walks through the door.

He may prefer the processing plant over the front counter but Tuttle’s wouldn’t be Tuttle’s without everything he does behind the scenes.

Help us wish Cody a Happy Birthday And if you did happen to see him out in the store today I hope you didn’t overwhelm him with too much conversation. 😂
