May is a busy month for our community!! We start it off with rodeo festivities, and close it out honoring the memories of our brave veterans who are laid to rest in the Woodlake Public Cemetery. With nearly 400 American soldiers buried here, they span the history of our nation: Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and so many that stood at the ready in between. We invite everyone to come out on Saturday, May 23 to put crosses and flags at each of their graves, join us for our annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25. We leave the crosses and flags up for a week to honor them a little longer, and all are welcome to come back on the 30th to help us tuck everything back away until next year.

We love rodeo at the Woodlake Drive-In and are proud to sponsor the PRCA’s California Circuit Bull Riders each year at the Circuit Finals held in Red Bluff! Tune in to the Cowboy Channel tonight and tomorrow night to cheer on our California rodeo athletes!

Each year the California Circuit Bull Riders director finds sponsorships to ensure the winner of each go round is awarded a go round buckle! This year’s buckles were made by Professional's Choice
