If you're still ordering regular quesadillas in Minneapolis, we need to talk. Because this is not regular!! 🤤

In Mexico, a quesadilla this size is often called a machete. Sound familiar? We took that and made it our own and named it the Quesadillota™. 21 inches of handmade corn tortilla filled with your choice of up to three proteins, queso fresco, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, and radishes.

But here's the part that matters most. The dough comes straight from Julian’s mom's, Lilia, kitchen. The same recipe she raised him on is the same one we press by hand for every Quesadillota™ that leaves our kitchen.

Come taste it for yourself! 🔥🖤

Now that's tendernism 🤤

The Quesadillota™ pulling apart like this should honestly be illegal. 21 inches of handmade corn tortilla, stuffed with your choice of up to three meats, and that cheese pull? Worth the drive alone.

Come see it for yourself. 🔥

Our most underrated menu item? Definitely the Crunchete 😮‍💨

You know that crunchy, grilled, folded wrap everyone loves? This is our version. Done the Machete way! A burrito size tortilla wrapped around a crunchy tostada, loaded with your choice of meat, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and pico. Are you drooling yet? 🤤

So do us a solid and send this to someone who needs it in their life 😏

We're proud to partner with Alma Flor Ada Spanish Immersion School, recently voted Best of Woodbury 2026 for Language Immersion.

At Alma Flor Ada, children learn through full Spanish immersion with native speaking teachers, growing up to be bilingual, curious, and kindhearted individuals.

And we at Machete Cocina Mexicana are honored to provide fresh, authentic Mexican meals daily for the little ones.

Now they're growing, with a brand new, bigger school on the way and enrollment open for kids 16 months through Kindergarten. If you want your child immersed in language and culture, this is your sign.
