Harvest Chicken first opened its’ doors Memorial Day weekend in 2006, under the ownership of Mr. Tom was formerly the meat manager at a Woodbine grocery store, Harvest Fare. He then brought the fried chicken that was sold there and opened his own restaurant. e. In 2011, Tom would hire Ryan Bichner and Stephanie Rapp to join the crew. Ryan started out working in the kitchen, prepping and cooking the chicken and other food. Eventually, Ryan wanted to learn more and began to learn all the other aspects of Harvest, eventually moving up to Management. When Tom decided to consider retirement, he and Ryan discussed the exciting future of Harvest Chicken. In October of 2022, Ryan and his wife Stephanie became the new owners of Harvest and plan to continue doing the business that they do best.
