Come on in to taste the new brews on tap this autumn at Sixknot!
Breakside “What Rough Beast” IPA - 6.8% ABV, 55 IBU
Contemporary India Pale Ale brewed with feet firmly planted in the Northwest and a nod to New England. Mosaic and Columbus hops get lots of play here creating a beer that is tropical, fruity, dank, soft, and balanced.
Breakside Thirst Trap IPA - 6.5% ABV, 68 IBU
This hazy IPA smells and tastes like Christmas in the tropics– big notes of Ruby red grapefruit, citrus zest and pine needles are paired with aromas reminiscent of guava, Sauvignon Blanc grapes, pineapple, and mango.
Brewed in small batches and released in limited quantity just for three months of the year, this beer will be extremely fresh until it quickly disappears.
Bayern Oktoberfest - 6.0% ABV, 23 IBU
Bayern Oktoberfest is the classic Bavarian Dark Märzen: not too sweet yet malty with a nice hop flavor. This beer is brewed with Pilsener, Munich and German Dunkel malt. The hops for this special brew come straight from the Hallertau region in northern Bavaria and the finishing hops are Saaz from the Czech Republic. Get it while it’s here!
Iron Horse Irish Death - 7.8% ABV, 12 IBU
The beer without a style;
yet, has so much style
Created by the brewery’s founder, Quilter’s Irish Death is The Iron Horse Brewery Flagship Beer. The color of this beer belies its drinkability. Lovingly referred to as ”beer candy. Smooth enough to session, but too strong to do so.
Founders Nitro Oatmeal Stout - 4.8% ABV, 38 IBUa
A Founders take on a classic style, brewed with a generous amount of flaked oats, chocolate malt, roasted barley and a healthy helping of Nugget hops, Founders Oatmeal Stout is nitrogen-infused to give it an extra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. An attractive cascade effect gives this beer its forthright visual appeal—and the body and clean flavor deliver on that initial promise.
