We donate $1 from every bag sold each month to a featured adoptive family or charity. We are set up Tuesday-Friday at Crunch Fitness in Winter Springs (1185 E State Rd 434) from 7am-11am. On Saturdays, we are at Sanford's Marketplace at Magnolia (2nd Str. & Magnolia Ave.) from 9am-2pm. Come out to see us for an iced latte, cold brew, and other specialty drink, as well as bags of freshly roast bean

s! If you or someone you know is raising funds for an adoption, we've teamed up with two other amazing organizations to help families raise more funds. Below is how each of our organizations help adopting families:

1. Connected Hearts: We provide free one-on-one adoption funding coaching that helps families raise funds for their adoption through crowdfunding, fundraising and identifying and applying for grants. 2. Open Hearts for Orphans: Open Hearts for Orphans is an amazing organization created to care for orphaned and abandoned children around the world through medical intervention, meeting basic needs, and providing "Say Yes" grants to families in the adoption process. A post that is long overdue. We’ve spent the last few months privately grieving and seeking closure as a family for our adoption of our sweet Asher. And making a plan on how we can best honor his life as we move forward.

Please come back September 1st to see how we are honoring his life by loving and supporting another precious child in need.

And the biggest, most heartfelt thank you for walking this extra long, hard journey with us. It didn’t end where we wanted it to, but we’re so grateful for this community that has come around us and loved our precious boy too 🫶

It’s Featured Family Friday!

“Our adoption journey is closely connected to a country that has held a special place in our hearts for many years. For nearly 20 years, we have been involved in mission work in Peru, serving communities, building relationships, and experiencing the beauty of the people and culture. Through those years, Peru became much more than a place we visited—it became a second home to us.

Because of our deep connection to Peru, we felt called to adopt from there. We have a small piece of property in Peru and have maintained strong ties to the country through our ministry and friendships. One of our greatest desires is to help our children stay connected to their heritage, culture, and roots.

As adoptive parents, we believe it is important for children to know where they come from and to be proud of their identity. We hope to provide opportunities for our children to return to Peru throughout their lives, allowing them to reconnect with their homeland, maintain cultural connections, and build relationships that are meaningful to them. If they choose to do so as adults, we would love to help them establish deeper roots there as well.

We are pursuing the adoption of a sibling group because we believe keeping brothers and sisters together is important. These children have already shared so much of life's journey, and we want to provide them with the love, stability, and support of a forever family while preserving the bond they have with one another.

The adoption process has been a journey of faith, patience, and preparation. While there are still steps ahead before we can bring the children home, we are excited and grateful for every door God continues to open. We look forward to the day when our family is united and we can begin this new chapter together.”

It’s Featured Family Friday time! Learn more about our family of the month, the Harmons, as they are adopting four precious siblings from Peru 🇵🇪

“For many years, we prayed and hoped for children of our own. After experiencing infertility and the loss of an ectopic pregnancy early in our marriage, we continued to trust God with our future, even when we did not understand His plan.

In August 2023, God began to stir our hearts in a way we had never experienced before. Denise had a dream of children playing in our living room. Their laughter was so real, joyful, and full of life that she woke up believing there were actually children in our home. The very first words she spoke to Greg were, "I'm ready to go get a little girl in Peru."

Before that moment, we never seriously considered adoption. Denise had held tightly to the hope of having a biological child and had never felt led toward adoption. But through that simple dream, God planted a deep and undeniable desire in our hearts to become parents through adoption.

As we prayed and sought God's direction, He continued to open doors and confirm His calling. Our hearts grew not only for one child, but for a sibling group of four children who need parents, love, stability, and the opportunity to remain together as a family. We believe adoption is more than growing our family—it is answering God's call to love, nurture, and provide a home for children who need one. We are humbled and grateful for this journey and look forward to welcoming these precious children home.”

Happy Featured Family Friday!

Learn more about our family of the month, the Harmons, who were also our July ‘24 Featured Family…

“Our family is built on faith, love, and the belief that family is created in many different ways. We have been married for 31 years and have dreamed of becoming parents throughout our marriage.

Early in our journey, we experienced the loss of an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured during our second year of marriage. Over the years, we pursued many fertility treatments and visited several fertility clinics, hoping to grow our family. While that path was not the one we expected, it has led us to where we are today. We are currently in the process of adopting a sibling group from Peru—two boys and two girls. Although we do not have children yet, our hearts have always been open to welcoming children into our family. We are incredibly grateful that God has opened the door for adoption and are excited about the opportunity to keep these siblings together and provide them with a loving, stable, and supportive home.

This journey has required patience, perseverance, and faith, and we are looking forward to the day when we can officially become a family of six. We appreciate everyone's encouragement and prayers as we continue this exciting chapter of our lives.”

Spilling the beans on what deserves your hard-earned cash... so you can sip smarter, not spend harder 🤑

1. Freshly roasted beans—Check your coffee’s roast date! Ideally, drink your coffee within 2-4 weeks of its roast date to give you maximum nutrients (and taste too!)

2. Ethical sourcing—Coffee isn’t good unless it’s good for everyone, from farmer to customer. Ethical sourcing protects the environment so that farmers can continue to produce high-quality coffee year after year. Alittle extra dough, but it’s a decision you can feel good about!

3. Grinder—Yes, we can grind your beans for you, however, it will start breaking down your coffee’s flavor and make it taste stale faster. Freshly ground coffee tastes and smells 🤌 (trust us!)

4. Pour over—Our favorite way to brew! Manually pouring the hot water brings out the coffee’s notes and gives you a smoother, cleaner cup. It takes a few extra minutes and dollars to buy the equipment, but it’s worth it every time for the cafe-like experience!

5. Local roaster — Skip the stale, mass-produced coffee. Local roasters typically offer fresher, small-batch beans with better quality and direct relationships with farmers. It may cost a little more, but you’re supporting your community—and you’ll taste the difference too!

Meet (or meet again!) our August ‘26 Featured Family: the Harmon Family adopting a sibling group of FOUR from Peru 🇵🇪

We partnered with the Harmon’s in July ‘24 at the beginning of their adoption journey. Now they are raising the last amount of money needed to bring these four precious siblings home! Hear an overview of their story and come back next Friday for more…

“Hello, our name is Greg & Denise Harmon. We have been happily married since 1995. Two years into our marriage we found ourselves pregnant and facing a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. We are very thankful for the University of Kentucky who had a large team of doctors that worked ever so caringly - God saved Denise's life! This left us facing many infertility challenges.

In 2006, we began to do missionary work and pouring our love into the needs of the community of San Juan, Peru, S.A. We have always loved children and wanted to have our own. In 2023, God placed a desire in our hearts to adopt a set of siblings - 4 children! The children are needing parents, love and support. We are financially stable to provide monthly living cost for them but we have current needs to get the children - HOME.

We have to add an addition to our house to accommodate the children. We are fundraising, we have family members and local churches that are providing offerings as well. In Christ, all things are possible!!

“We are adopting a courageous young boy from Colombia. While we want to honor his privacy and recognize that much of his story belongs to him, we are grateful to share a little about why he has captured our hearts.

When we first learned about him, one detail immediately stood out to us: he is a kidney transplant recipient. Our son Levi received a life-saving liver transplant, so transplant life is something our family understands deeply. We know the challenges, sacrifices, and ongoing care that come with protecting a transplanted organ, but we also know the incredible hope and second chances that transplantation provides.

As we learned more about his story, we discovered that his kidney transplant took place on Levi's birthday. That connection felt incredibly meaningful to our family and strengthened our belief that God was bringing our stories together. What ultimately drew us to him, however, was not his medical history. It was his resilience, courage, and the joy he continues to show despite the hardships he has faced. The more we learned about him, the more we saw him not as a child we were considering adopting, but as our son.

Because of our family's experiences, we feel uniquely equipped to advocate for his medical needs and support him as he continues to grow and thrive. Most importantly, we look forward to providing him with what every child deserves: a permanent family, unconditional love, stability, and the opportunity to build a future surrounded by people who will always be in his corner. We cannot wait to welcome him home and help him write the next chapter of his story as a beloved member of our family.”
