We are honored to dedicate the day to supporting their mission, and 100% of Scoops’ profits from 12:30 PM–8:30 PM will be donated directly to 8 Waves.

At Eight Waves, we walk alongside local students and families every week building trust, offering support, and helping children move forward with confidence.
We focus on two things that truly change a child’s path:
Academic Support
From reading to math to history, our volunteer tutors walk alongside each student with patience and consistency.
Because while academics matter, what matters most is this—a student beginning to believe in themselves again. Raising their hand. Trying again. Realizing, “I can do this.”
Wraparound Care
Because a child’s success is shaped by more than what happens in the classroom.
We provide meals, hygiene support, mentorship, emotional care, and practical life skills—like managing money, scheduling a doctor’s appointment, preparing for a job, and navigating everyday responsibilities with confidence.
This kind of support brings stability, builds dignity, and creates real momentum.
And it’s making a difference.
Right here in West Orange County and South Lake County, students are showing up, staying engaged, and moving toward graduation and independence—because they have consistent support around them.
This work is not done alone. It is something we build together.
