• Bengal Book Co Book Sale: Our friend from Bengal Book Co. is joining us for a book sale pop-up inside Axum! Add some books to your collection and grab one of our new seasonal bevs too! 📚

• Axum Game Night: Our usual bi-monthly Tuesday staple stays on the event schedule! Get off your phone and get to Candyland—STAT. 🎲

• Axum X Silent Book Club Winter Garden Meetup: For those who like a sense of community and also a sense of peace and quiet, enter Silent Book Club! We’re partnering with Silent Book Club Winter Garden to have a cozy night of reading, sipping drinks, and curating cozy vibes! 📖

• Axum Blind Book Swap: We’ve been WAITING for this one and we picked a perfectly bookish month to do it! Have some books you’ve read too many times? Have any duplicates in your collection? Bring them to book swap! Simply bring the book you’re swapping, place it in a paper bag, write a brief description of the book on the bag, then swap with another book on the table or with a person! It’s easy, a great way to get a new book, and maybe even meet a new person! 📕

• Bookmark Making & Library Card Sign Up Event: This month in our crafting corner, we’re making bookmarks! In addition to making bookmarks, Orange County Library System is going to help you put them to WORK! Are you signed up for a library card yet? If not, we’re fixing to change that! OCLS will be with us to tell you about all the things a library card can do and help get you signed up! PS: show your OCLS card for a discount during the month of September at Axum! 💳

• KPOP & Coffee Pop-Up: Our friends from JJAM Corner K-Pop Shop are here with us again for some fall festivities for the fans! Come decorate pumpkins, buy merch, sip on special KPOP inspired drinks, and show support for your KPOP favs! 🎶

Honey in the Hollow: A drink worth traveling across the Hundred Acre Wood for! Sanctuary Chai spiced chai, our housemade cinnamon syrup, and Fee Brothers, Inc. to***co bitters mingle together and get topped with a decadent housemade fig and Petal Honey Co. honey cold foam! Served hot or iced! 🍯

Banana Bread Flat White: Long time Axum-ers may recognize this drink from menu’s past and she’s back and better than ever! Banana puree, brown sugar, Fee Brothers, Inc. black walnut bitters mix with espresso and your choice of milk. Served hot ONLY! 🍞

Pumpkin Cider: It wouldn’t be full-on autumn vibes without a cider, right? Housemade pumpkin cider made with fresh pumpkin, apple, and mulling spices! Available hot or iced! 🍎

Teausday Matcha: No that’s no typo, we’re just embracing our inner Pooh Bear this fall season! “There are days when spelling Tuesday simply doesn’t count.” This delicious matcha gets a roasted cherry puree, house-made vanilla syrup, and served with your choice of milk. Iced ONLY! 🍒

We hope you had your fill of strawberry fields, s’mores, derbies, and apricots because they are officially gone for the summer, and we hope that you welcome these new fall drinks with as much love as you’ve shown the last menu and those before it! August is here already, can you believe it? It’s almost back-to-school time and summer is almost over, but we’re ending summer in a big way! We’ve got some great things happening this month, swipe to the next slide to see what’s going on! ➡️

• Cristo Rey School Supplies Drive: For the entire month of August, we are accepting school supplies donations for Cristo Rey High School! Donations can be dropped off in our fabulous donation box or dropped off with our baristas during business hours! For a list of specific supplies they’re in most need of, check our previous Instagram post or the lists hung up around the store! 📚

• Axum Game Night: Game nights now have a (hopefully) permanent fixture on the first and last Tuesday of each month! You know the drill: caffeinate and get extra anxious while playing Jenga, rage quit Battleship, or make up new rules no one has heard of for Uno. The world is your oyster at Axum Game Night. 🎲

• Axum Button Making Pt. 2: You guys asked (BEGGED) to do button making night again, so we’re running it back for those who missed out the first time, or for those who want to get MORE. Bring your favorite photos, memes, or make some sick drawings to button-ify them! 🥇

• Paint & Sip with Beetle & Bloom Studio: Join us for a guided painting night with Liliana from Beetle & Bloom as she walks us through how to make a beautiful work of art! Painting something special while sipping on one of our summer seasonals is a great way to wind down after a long day, we’re all about the relaxation here. Supplies are provided but will be limited, so this is first come first serve! 🎨

• World Photography Day Color Walk with PhotoWalk Society: Did you know August 19th is World Photography Day? Now you do! Join Axum and our friends at PhotoWalk Society for a color walk! A color walk is like a scavenger hunt with your eyes and your camera; you’ll be given a color to find while walking and you have to take as many pictures of that color as possible! This event is for any level of photography skill and is meant to be a fun way to get outside, have fun, and celebrate World Photography Day! 📸

• Summer 2 Drink Launch: More summer coming at you! Our second summer menu drops TODAY, July 1st! Check out our other post for a glimpse of everything new and delicious! ☀️

• Fourth of July Holiday Hours: We are closing early at 5PM on the 4th of July in observance of the holiday. Our roastery location inside Crooked Can Brewing Company will be open its normal hours! 🎇

• Camp Axum Craft Days: Welcome to Camp Axum! During the month of July, we’ll be doing camp inspired craft activities like making pennant flags, beaded keychains, wind chimes, sun-catchers and of COURSE friendship bracelets. 🏕️

Summer is too long for just ONE menu, right?? Welcome to the Summer Part 2. This drink lineup hits better than your favorite music festival lineup—no ticket required. ✨

Strawberry Fields Forever: Tastes just like strawberry shortcake in a cup! Housemade strawberry shortcake syrup and white chocolate get shaken together with a double shot of espresso and oat milk, then strained over fresh ice, topped with housemade vanilla cold foam and strawberry crunch toppings. The Beatles would definitely write a song about this drink, it’s that good. 🍰

Derby Day Lemonade: Hold your horses, this drink is inspired by the Kentucky classic with an Axum twist! Lemonade and ginger ale come together over ice and get topped with a nitro cold brew floater and chopped mint! Quit horsing around and come try it! 🐎

S’more Summer Pls: You asked (demanded) and we delivered—S’more Summer is back on the menu for the summer! Skip the campfire and come to Axum instead; dark chocolate and housemade graham cracker syrup mix with a double shot of espresso, milk and marshmallow fluff foam toasted per cup. All the deliciousness, none of the fire hazard! Well, unless Kaycie gets carried away with the torch again… 🔥

Golden Hour Tonic: ITS GOLDEN HOUR EVERY HOUR AT AXUM, BABY! Well, from the hours of 7am to 9pm anyways. Housemade apricot syrup combine tonic water and is topped with a double shot of espresso. Can also sub espresso for matcha if you live that life. Better than a Florida sunset. ☀️

The Banana Pudding Cold Brew is also here until the end of summer so we’ll let you enjoy her for a little longer. These drinks will be on the menu until the end of summer so come get em’! 🏃🏻‍♂️
