This beauty is ready for Prime Time at The Winnetka Edit!

We found her at High Point (but she’s French, obviously!) so we had to trick her out in some gorgeous La Maison Pierre Frey!

Squealing over this pumpkin fantasy sequence conjured up by Chicago’s First Pumpkin Concierge. It was the most amazing operation to watch unfold! Pumpkins galore!

WCD Lately:
- La Maison Pierre Frey showroom at the mart is a little slice of heaven
- no broke boys (my favorite song) playing at Samuel & Sons Stephanie Dussias wishes she didn’t know me
- cringe outfit one
- Kravet for all the colors
- the lovely gals Cowtan & Tout Chicago Showroom make the most exquisite sample bags! Every sample is a perfect square!
- cringe outfit two (a lovely evening with other local NS designers! 💃💃)
- one umbrella fosters a sibling bond 🤣
- deep diving paint Stephanie Dussias
- the hardest working design gals I know! Samantha Vanna Stephanie Dussias
- office rule: you have to match the walls at least once a week Stephanie Dussias
- loads of scheming coming together
- fresh bathroom paint!
- my yearly Mammogram (I keep calling it my monogram this week which I’m obviously blaming on my perimenopause! I see Dr. Farag in the Gold Coast. I pay out of pocket for immediate results which is an absolute luxury that I always feel lucky to be able to pay.)
-cringe outfit three: but this time you get to watch me double stuff myself into a rain jacket while I wear another jacket!
- petty cash for the office! Any 90’s girls remember Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter is Dead??? Every time Christina Applegate dipped into the Petty Cash box, my heart would skip a beat! Imagine having access to a box of cash!?!! I couldn’t even fathom it when I was 12.

These babies of mine are 8 years old today. They are the funniest little duo, and continue to make us laugh every single day. We never expected or planned on twins (who ever does?!) but it’s truly difficult to picture our world without them.

It feels like just yesterday I was turned inside out with exhaustion, draped in babies, who always seemed to have the knack for crying at the exact same time. Time really is a thief.

Happy birthday to Ford and Willa, our forever babies.
