First and foremost, thank you for all the love and messages today. I’m not exaggerating when I say there was a little puddle of tears on my pillow watching our first segment air before heading to work at 6:30. Seeing my mom on that screen, knowing we’ll have this memory forever, meant more than I can put into words.

Today reminded me why this little brand means so much to me. It’s been a lesson in choosing yourself, believing in that little crazy idea, and being patient while you figure it out. And YES, with full time jobs, life happening around us, we’re figuring it out little by little! One CHUBBY BOY at a time!

At the heart of Chubby Boy Rolls is a simple hope to do some good, make people feel welcome, and share some good ole cinnamon rolls with our neighborhood.

Sean and I are so grateful. Thank you for giving this little idea a place in your lives.

EVERYONE!!! Tomorrow, our little home bakery is going to be FEATURED on CHANNEL 10 . 🥹🤎

We just got the notification, and I cried a little. Then I called my mom, who immediately wrote down every time our segment will air: 6:40 AM, 9:40 AM and 4:45 PM.

I’ll be at my full time job for two of them, carrying a lot of feelings while this little dream keeps growing. Chubby Boy Rolls has been built one paycheck at a time, with early mornings, long nights, sweat and plenty of tears.

Sean and my mom have been beside me through every part of it. Getting to share this moment with them is a blessing I don’t take lightly.

For this first generation Cuban American boy from Hialeah (ya tú SABE, you know!), seeing my mom be part of this story makes me even prouder. Whatever this dream becomes, I want her to be there to experience it with me. Thank you for giving our little home bakery so much love. You’ve helped turn something we believed in into something we get to share with the world.

THE NEWS IS OUT… CHUBBY BOY ROLLS IS COMING TO YENS FOR ROUND TWO! You’ve been asking for more dates and earlier times to get your hands on a Chubby Boy Roll… here they are! 🌀🤎

We’re back at Yen’s Coffee House in Fort Lauderdale:
• Sunday, October 25 at 9 AM
• Saturday, October 31 at 9 AM 🎃 Halloween!

No preorders needed for these pop-ups. Just show up! Everything will be first come, first served, with about 100 treats at each event. Come early because once we’re out, we’re out!

Today started with flan at 7am, lunch with friends visiting from out of town, and then right back to the kitchen.

The dough is officially in the fridge, and it looks SO GOOD. Oh and… Six versions later, the coquito icing is finally where I want it. Tomorrow, you’re in for a treat. Hopefully one that keeps you thinking about the Chubby Boys long after the last bite. 🤎

I want to pour my heart into something good and let the work and quality speak for themselves. My work ethic.. my passion for this CRAFT. Over 25 of you are coming tomorrow, some all the way from MIAMI. That means more than you know.

Pack a flan with me! 🥹 This is only my third one ever. My mom wasn’t around, so a 40 minute phone call became my baking lesson. Last week, I brought a slice to work… and a colleague ordered a whole flan! Made entirely by me, with Mom’s guidance. 🤎

Also, this weekend’s cinnamon rolls sold out in 30 MINUTES! If you placed an order, we’ll see you Sunday, October 11 at 12 PM. Sharp, OKAY?

LOOKING for someone who can help us with merch? I already have the designs. Would preferably like to support a local business. Planning to do: embroidered hats and screen printed shirts that are decent quality and will not shrink on our customers. I haven't looked into this because before I take the plunge in investing, I want to ensure we receive good quality at a reasonable price. We're only 9 months into our journey and so many people have asked us for shirts and merch! I think it's time! Please send us anyone you've worked with before our way! Thank you!

Our new roll was a hit at game night last night. We left with empty pans! We’re continuing to test and fine tune it through this weekend, so quantities will be limited while we give this specialty roll a little extra love. My promise to this little brand has always been quality first. If I’m putting my name on it, I want to be proud of every bite. And if you like cheesecake, well this FLAN is for you.
