We have a little surprise we’d love to make happen.

Are there any teachers here who work at a local school in Wilton Manors or the surrounding Fort Lauderdale area? We’d love to gift an entire batch of our Chubby Boy Rolls cinnamon rolls to an amazing group of teachers—completely FREE—as a small way to say thank you and help kick off the new school year.

Whether it’s a welcome-back breakfast before students arrive or a first-day treat (schedule permitting since we’re still balancing our full-time jobs while building Chubby Boy Rolls), we’d love to make it happen.

This week, we decided to do something completely last minute…

We officially launched our brand-new pre-order system on our website! 🤎

To be honest, it was simply a test run. We only released 24 cinnamon rolls because we wanted to make sure everything worked smoothly as we continue growing and become more organized with our orders moving forward.

What happened next absolutely blew us away.

Within 3 minutes of sending an email to our Chubby Boy Club newsletter, orders started pouring in. In under 2 hours, every single cinnamon roll was gone.

I honestly don’t have the words to describe how grateful I am.

Three years ago, I knew I wanted to build something of my own. I knew I wanted to create something that people could enjoy, something I could pour my heart into after spending years feeling micromanaged at my full-time job. Today, I get to wake up every day and work toward that dream because of all of you.

Thank you for every order, every share, every comment, every message, and every ounce of support you’ve shown Chubby Boy Rolls. It truly means more than you’ll ever know.

This is only the beginning.

We’re excited to continue expanding our drops with more cinnamon rolls, the return of our chocolate chip cookies, new flavors, and upcoming pop-up events.

Sean and I are taking a little vacation this week, but before we leave I’m sending something special to our Chubby Boy Club email members. 👀

We’re also making a BIG change for our next drop. After months of juggling DMs, texts, and preorder questions, we’re finally moving preorders through our website to make everything smoother for you (and us). 🙌

Anthony here!

Our biggest order YET was this weekend. Still trying to figure out the pre-orders. It’s been a little hectic handling orders + customer service! It’s all new to me and willing to learn every step of the way! I’ll be dropping a little video this week with all of our little updates! We will taking a SHORT two week break and will be back with our regulars rolls. Yeah… some people are already asking. 🥹🤯

We had three LOVELY human beings bring my mom presents for her birthday. This meant the world to her. THANK YOU.

Just know there’s nothing but love, hard work and INTENTION with everything we’re doing with Chubby Boy Rolls. WE ARE SO DAM THANKFUL. 🤎🌀🫶🏻

Growing up Hispanic, I think a lot of us have that one person we can talk to about absolutely anything. For me, it’s my mom.

This weekend we were reminiscing about my childhood, and she reminded me of something I completely forgot. Every single day after school, I was outside. We didn’t have a basketball hoop, so I used the metal railing covering our window as one. I’d spend hours playing outside, talking to neighbors, introducing myself to strangers, and somehow finding a reason to make friends with everyone around me.

My mom laughed and said I would even invite people over just because I wanted to get to know them better.

The funny thing is… not much has changed.

Looking back now, I realize Chubby Boy Rolls was never just about cinnamon rolls. It’s about people. It’s about conversations. It’s about community. It’s about creating a space where strangers become friends.

Every comment, every order, every message, every person who’s stopped by to support us has become part of something much bigger than I ever imagined.

The little kid talking to everyone in the neighborhood is now building a bakery, and somehow he’s still doing the exact same thing.

I’m still trying to process this entire journey. 🤎

After this drop, Chubby Boy Rolls will be taking a short break and returning in July.

Since December, I’ve been posting, baking, learning, and building nonstop. What started as an idea has turned into sold-out drops, new friendships, and a community that continues to show up for us every single week.

Thank you for supporting this little queer-owned dream. We’re incredibly grateful, and we can’t wait to come back even stronger.
