99.9% — That’s how much polio cases have been reduced since Rotary and its partners began the global eradication effort.
2 countries — Wild polio remains endemic in only Afghanistan and Pakistan.
3+ billion children — That’s how many children have been protected through Rotary’s polio efforts.
$2.9+ billion — Rotary’s contributions to PolioPlus grants.
20+ million people — Walking today who otherwise could have been paralyzed by polio.

The whole month of October the W**e Cafe and the Wilmington Illinois Rotary are teaming up to raise some money for Polio Awareness. The Rotary organizations around the world are the main support for eradicating Polio.
We are doing a purple fundraiser. Here is how it works.
*$1 of every slushie purchased goes to the cause
*Buy our Purple Rain or Joker Cocktail or our Purple tea mocktail and $5 of the purchase will go to the cause
*Buy a Purple Rose for $5 to display at the W**e Cafe
*Buy a raffle ticket from Oct 10th to the 24th for a chance to win a raffle basket. The winner will be drawn October 24th, World Polio Day.
