Meet the owner of Just Rice 🌿
Mom. Wife. Woman of faith. And for 30 years a financial services and management professional.
I built a career I was proud of. But deep down, I always felt a calling to do something bigger. I just didn’t know what it was.
Sometimes when you’re searching for something, you find it in the least likely of ways. For me, it was in my kitchen. A recipe I was experimenting with. Spices nobody would think to combine. A dish I made on a whim for a family gathering that turned into a church potluck sensation and then a sold-out market business.
I never knew this was in me.
My heart has always been to serve people. My gift has always been the ability to take an idea and make it real. Just Rice is where those two things finally came together. God connected the dots I couldn’t see.
1,000+ bowls sold in our first summer. A commercial kitchen for 2026. And we’re just getting started.
So I want to ask you, what is in you? We all have dreams and ideas inside us. Some of us are still searching. Some of us are afraid to start. I’m running with mine.

I never planned to start a food business. God did.

Every great business has an origin story. Here’s ours. 🌿
2023 — A whim at a family event turned into something special nobody saw coming.
2024 — The church potluck confirmed it. The people said bring that rice again, and again, and AGAIN.
2025 — We listened. We launched. Delaware showed up. The test became the testimony. 🙏
Just Rice wasn’t planned. It was purposed.
