Our tender pulled smoked chicken, fresh romaine, homemade cornbread croutons, real Parmesan cheese and a true Caesar dressing - all chopped and stuffed into a fresh spinach tortilla wrap. We had a great time watching the ponies run for the roses yesterday! There were fascinators, bow ties and mint juleps (as well as plenty of baseball caps, hoodies, beers) and of course lots of delicious barbecue. What fun to see Golden Tempo win - a long shot trained by the first woman trainer to ever win the Kentucky Derby. Cheers to Cherie DeVeaux! We love it when families come in to celebrate at Pit&Tap. Maybe it’s Grandpa’s birthday, or mom’s new job, or your kid’s high school graduation. Maybe you all just made through another week! There’s nothing better than seeing you having a great time and enjoying our food together. And it was especially fun this week when our very own cousins came in to celebrate something special. Lots of our Pit & Tap high school crew went to New Trier Prom tonight! Somehow the restaurant stayed afloat without them. We love this tradition of meeting up to take a photo together at the party. Hope these awesome young people had an amazing night. Happy Prom, everybody!
