Yes, still opening! Ever so grateful for our wood-fired oven, this rock solid building and to all the people coming through this morning to check in and help out. we have some generators to keep the fridges going and we’ll be open for our normal hours of 3-9 pm today. We are NOT able to take card payments with no power, and our phone line for today is 707-513-9553. If you try our normal phone it will NOT go through until the power resumes! See ya later ✌🏽

We made the decision to wait for our local meats to come back rather than use ingredients we’re not stoked with… it was worth the wait :)

Tonight’s the night!
We have a Dine & Donate event for The School of Adaptive Agriculture- meaning that 10-15% of sales from our day go directly to the school.
This one is near and dear to me - it’s how I arrived in Willits 10 years ago and therefore is pretty much responsible for present day Flying Dog Pizza!

Go to farmers market, come hang out here and grab dinner while supporting the current and next generation of small farmers…. Sounds like the most ideal May 28th anyone could ask for 🥰

Happy Wednesday Willits - we have a new pizza for ya :)

When I went to the International Pizza Expo in March, I came away with some homework (my favorite type of homework…) to come up with a pizza using a set list of ingredients.

Well I lost that notebook page but remembered two of them- Apricots & Pork, and I’ve been thinking about them ever since.

I pulled the last of the carnitas I made this winter from my freezer (thanks pork friends in Laytonville & Willits 🐷) and mixed up a batch of fresh Apricot BBQ sauce…. Definitely straying from the assignment- but wicked delicious and exactly what I was imaging it to be - smoky, tangy, tender, yummy.

Meet “The Bloc Party” - Olive Oil base, cheddar and pizza cheese, local BBQ pork, local apricots and jalapeños finished with pickled red onions & cilantro ! Limited Edition pizza- try it while it’s here

Thanks to for the inspiration & thanks for picking apricots as the star ingredient 🥰

Excited for this flavor bomb as we enter summer time 🎉

With white bean puree, a lemon vinaigrette, toasty breadcrumbs, parm & fresh chives.
It’s quite tasty :)
