MEET LIBBY! ⭐️☕️🌞🌈

a long overdue introduction to a very talented barista that has been part of the young bucks family for about two years now! libby has been a barista since 2017 work full time, then moved to weekends only while still having a full time job just for the love of it! she soon after moved back to being full time!

☕️ what’s your favorite part about working here? - i am passionate about coffee and i love my customers, making their drinks and brightening their the same as they brighten mine! it is always a treat when a new customer becomes a regular and a friend!

🤎 what’s your go to drink order? - honey cinnamon espresso over ice w/ almond milk!

✨ what’s a fun fact about you? - i am an archer with a recurve bow

🎶 what song are you loving right now? - “paranoid” by black sabbath & “i wasted my tears” by dolly parton

⭐️ what do you enjoy doing out of work? - i enjoy writing music and singing, reading, spending time at the family farm, riding horses, and exploring hidden historical gems of north dakota

🌎 if you could travel anywhere, where would you go? - little diomede island in alaska

🍬 what’s your favorite treat to pair with your drink? - lemon bread!

as you can tell, libby is a very cool, kind, & down to earth gal! we’re so glad she’s apart of the young bucks family, so make sure you swing by and let her make you a delicious drink!

In honor of National Coffee Day, it felt like time for a little trip down memory lane. ☕️

Young Bucks began inside Life Church in 2021, just two months before our third son was born. At the time, I stood at a crossroads: stay home with my boys or open the coffee shop I had always dreamed of. We felt strongly that Jesus was calling us to say yes, even though we couldn’t see what the road ahead would look like.

Since then, I’ve met incredible people, had the chance to cheer on others in their faith, and worked alongside talented young women whom I’m grateful to celebrate every day.

To our customers, schools and business partners, fellow coffee shops, and friends: thank you. You’ve supported Young Bucks through the highs and lows, and you’ve supported me through mine, too.

This journey keeps reminding me to bring it all to Jesus and walk with Him, even when that’s easier said than done. I’m grateful for how far He’s brought us, excited for what’s ahead, and so glad we get to be here in Williston. 🤎

We encourage you to come, sit, drink, and rest.

Here’s a reminder to stop, slow down, partake, and enjoy God’s Word. Because “hurry” kills joy.

In Scripture, we see Jesus going away alone to pray. But when He is interrupted, He listens. His heart is open because He has not been hurried or rushed.

Jesus also tells us to guard our minds and protect ourselves, and our society is constantly trying to rush us. This is your reminder to guard yourself against the rush and the hustle.

At times, life is chaotic, and we just get caught up in it. But it’s no wonder we feel burned out. That’s not how we are called to live every single day.
