As you likely are aware, a significant winter storm is expected to impact our area tomorrow through Monday, bringing periods of heavy snowfall and hazardous travel conditions. Please plan ahead and use extra caution if you must be out on the roads.
❄️ What to Expect:
• Heavy snow and reduced visibility
• Snow-covered and icy roadways
• Possible downed tree limbs and power outages
• Delays in travel and emergency response times
🚗 Travel & Parking Reminders:
• Avoid unnecessary travel
• Slow down and increase following distance
• Clear all snow and ice from your vehicle — including roof, lights, and windows
• Keep headlights on at all times
• Never crowd plow trucks — give them plenty of space to work
• Remove parked vehicles from roadways to allow plows and emergency vehicles to pass safely
Our officers will be on patrol throughout the storm, but response times may be longer due to conditions. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as crews work to keep our roadways clear and safe.
