When we created Gouda Gives, we knew we wanted giving back to be part of who Gouda Gracious is from the very beginning. Each month, a portion of the support you show our small business allows us to turn around and support organizations and programs doing meaningful work right here in our community. ❤️

As September comes to a close, we are incredibly grateful that Gouda Gives was able to support TWO local causes this month!

Recovery Revolution
Recovery Revolution is a Wilkes County-based, peer-led nonprofit helping individuals and families impacted by addiction. Through recovery support, treatment, transitional housing, outreach and other programs, their mission centers around restoring hope, repairing lives and rebuilding community.

Touch a Truck - Wilkes County
We were also proud to support Touch a Truck, a FREE family event that gives local children the opportunity to see, touch and explore vehicles while enjoying a day created for families in our community. Wilkes Community Partnership for Children also provides resources and programs focused on young children, parents, early learning, literacy and kindergarten readiness.

And now we're looking ahead to October! 🍂

Our October Gouda Gives recipient will be the Catherine H. Barber Memorial Shelter for the homeless

The Catherine H. Barber Memorial Homeless Shelter serves individuals and families in our community who are experiencing homelessness by providing a safe place to stay, essential resources, and support as they work toward greater stability and permanent housing.

Throughout October, every time you place an order with Gouda Gracious, book us for an event, purchase from Brunch Club, recommend us to a friend, or simply share one of our posts, you're helping our little business grow and helping us continue Gouda Gives.

We may be a small business, but we believe small businesses can make a BIG difference in the communities that support them.

Thank you, Wilkes, for giving us the opportunity to serve you and, in turn, serve others.

Where every bite is so Gouda and every order helps us do a little Gouda, too.

If a BLT and chicken salad had a slightly spicy baby…. 🌶️🥓🍅🥬

Spicy Garden BLT Chicken Salad 🤌

Fresh. Bacon-y. Creamy. Crunchy. A lil’ spicy.

10/10 would eat directly from the container.

Things we should NOT be doing anymore in 2026:

❌ Asking “what are we eating?” at 5:30 every night
❌ Spending our entire Sunday meal prepping
❌ Buying groceries just to watch them go bad
❌ Thinking meal prep = plain chicken, rice & broccoli
❌ Cooking multiple meals because everyone eats differently
❌ Struggling to find prepared meals that fit dietary needs
❌ Feeling guilty for outsourcing something that makes life easier

Things we SHOULD be doing in 2026:

✨ Making convenience a priority
✨ Eating food we actually enjoy
✨ Choosing meals that work with OUR lifestyle
✨ Keeping ready-to-eat meals in the fridge
✨ Ordering family-sized meals on busy weeks
✨ Getting meal prep customized for low-calorie, low-carb, low-sugar, gluten-free, lactose-free, high-protein & other dietary needs
✨ Letting Gouda Gracious do the leg work. 🧀🤎

You have enough on your plate. Let us handle what goes on it.

Consider this your sign to stop settling for sad chicken salad. 🤌🏼

POP IT LIKE IT’S HOT 🌶️
Our Jalapeño Popper Chicken Salad is creamy, savory, a little spicy and one of MANY bold chicken salad flavors available from Gouda Gives.

Order it in a 2-pint container or family size, pile it high on a croissant, stuff it into fresh veggies, go low-carb, make it a wrap or grab the crackers and call it dinner. 😂

You thought you were just ordering lunch… 🥹🤍

But that Brunch Club order, custom order, share, tag, referral, comment, and recommendation is helping us build something much bigger.

As Gouda Gracious grows, Gouda Gives grows with it.

More support for our small business means more resources we can pour right back into our communities… more sponsored meals, more opportunities to celebrate local children, more donations, more fundraisers, and more chances to simply show up for people who need it.

So THANK YOU. Seriously.

You’re not just helping a small business grow. You’re helping us grow what we’re able to give. 🧀🤍

And we’re only getting started.

Around here, we take holiday dinners VERY seriously. 🤌🏻

No one said you had to spend two days making it yourself.

Our holiday meal pre order open NEXT WEEK! We’re bringing the kind of food that makes everyone ask “who made this?!”.. just pass the plate and smile, we won’t tell anyone. 🤐

Full menu coming soon, consider this your head start before our holiday schedule is officially full.
