This week we’re introducing Daniel Dunn Sr. one of our drivers/mechanics who’s been keeping Island Ice Cream rolling for the last 2 years!

🚲 Childhood ice cream memory:
Growing up in North Cape May, there wasn’t an ice cream truck rolling through his neighborhood. Instead, he and his friends would hop on their bikes and head to Bud & Ann’s for ice cream and snow cones, ordering from the little outside window while the line stretched around the building. Those are the memories that stick with you. ❤️

This week we’re introducing one of the faces behind Island Ice Cream, Carlo “C.T.” Accardi! As co-owner & “Mr. Everything,” he wears a lot of hats around here and is always making sure things get done.

🍷☀️ Our Summer Sangria Contest is officially underway!

We’ve been busy testing flavor combinations and swapping ideas around the office to see what might inspire our customers’ next winning recipe. Tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it! 😎

And before anyone starts talking… the sangrias pictured are non-alcoholic test batches. We don’t drink on the job, we’re just doing a little research and development. 😉

If you’re one of our Tropics customers, don’t forget to get those entries in! We can’t wait to see the creative combinations you come up with this summer.

Not currently serving frozen drinks? We lease granita machines and carry a wide variety of Tropics and Jolly Rancher flavors to help bring frozen cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks to your menu.

Meet Jasmine from Accounting! 💻🍦

Jasmine has been with Island Ice Cream for 1 year and keeps this place running behind the scenes. Her favorite Island flavor is Mint Chip… and apparently she’s committed because if she could only eat one flavor forever, she picked Mint Chocolate Chip again. Respect honestly. 💚

A few fun facts about Jasmine:
📚 She loves to read anything and everything, and yes, she HAS to finish a book even if she hates it.

As the season starts and the summer rush begins, we want to take a moment to pause and remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.

From all of us at Island Ice Cream, thank you to those who served and to the families who sacrificed alongside them.
